Produced in designer Jo Gordon’s homeland of Scotland from South African lambswool, this Brushed Wool Wrap Scarf is made using yarn and dyes produced in a factory that follows Global Organic Textile Standards. The mill Gordon employs to spin this completely natural fiber uses processes that have been refined over the course of 120 years. Pure, soft water from the loch located next to the mill is used to wash the fibers. This gives the wool fibers their characteristic soft feel.

Gordon approaches each of her designs as a collaboration with the manufacturers. Together they discover new ways to interpret the design, such as using a production method in an unexpected way, reinterpreting an old technique, or resurrecting an archived, vintage pattern. Color is another important element in Gordon’s work: she often uses complex color and pattern on simple forms to dramatically change their context and mood. Generously sized so you can wrap it around your body (102l x 23.6”w), the Brushed Wool Wrap Scarf is an eye-catching accessory for any fall or winter ensemble. Dry clean only.
