The Joan Miró Gold-Plated Teardrop Necklace exemplifies just how well the artist’s vision translates to wearable jewelry. Made by family-owned Spanish brand Joidart in collaboration with Successió Miró, this design features a 24k gold-plated drop shape and a black enamel circle inspired by the 1967 artwork Femme et oiseaux. Wear it solo as an artful finishing touch or pair it with coordinating earrings from the same collection to create more impact. Every piece is conscientiously and locally made at a small factory in a mountain village using traditional artisanal techniques. The Joan Miró Gold-Plated Teardrop Necklace has a pendant that measures 1.25l x 0.82”w and a chain that measures 16.5”l with a 1.5”l extender chain. Miró’s work is represented in MoMA’s collection.
