This minimalist space-age design from 1967 by Joe Colombo has been updated for modern-day needs. The KD28 Table Lamp is crafted from recycled materials and the dome-shaped shade now features a satin finish that’s designed to project a warmer, more enveloping light than its predecessor. Home decor was considered with the fabric-covered power cable that matches the color of the base. Joe Colombo and the lamp’s manufacturer, Kartell, are represented in MoMA’s collection.
