Designed in 1936 by Christian Dell, the Kaiser-idell 6331 Luxus Table Lamp is an icon of Bauhaus design. This sleek design with a timeless look is an ideal lamp for your desk, a living room credenza or as a reading light on your bedside table. The Kaiser-idell is made in Europe from steel and brass, with hand-painted and chrome-plated finishes. Its name is derived from the first company Christian Dell worked for, Gebrüder Kaiser & Co. and an amalgam of Dell and idee, the German word for “idea.” Christian Dell’s work is represented in MoMA’s collection. The Kaiser-idell Luxus Table Lamp measures 16.7h x 11.2"diam. Powered by standard plug-in, it requires an E26, 25W bulb (not included).
