Witty, attention-grabbing and iconic: The Hairpin Table is all of these things and more. Designed by Florence Knoll in 1948, the steel legs of this lightweight design evoke hairpins. Use it as a whimsical side table for resting drinks and snacks, or as a place to display objects, plants and books. It’s stackable up to five tables for convenient storage. The Florence Knoll® Hairpin Stacking Table has a top made from MDF with laminate layers and steel legs with powder-coated paint finish. Three nylon bumpers underneath the top prevent scratches when the tables are stacked. The table measures 18.5h x 13”diam. Both Florence Knoll and the manufacturer Knoll are represented in MoMA’s collection.
