From a collaboration between Phillipe Starck and French heritage tableware brand Degrenne comes this striking five piece L’E Flatware Set. Each piece is made of 18/10 stainless steel and has a balanced weight and an elegant silhouette. The forks and the spoons have a concave design, making it easier to scoop up sauces and also quinoa and other grains. The knife has an oval handle as well as a flat face, allowing it to rest on its edge (it can also be placed flat). This L’E Flatware by Philippe Starck x Degrenne set includes a salad fork, a dinner fork, a knife, a soup spoon and a teaspoon and comes in eco-friendly packaging. Philippe Starck has over 40 designs in MoMA’s collection. Pieces measure: Knife:9"l, Dinner Fork: 8"l, Dessert Fork: 7.25"l, Dinner Spoon: 7.25"l, Teaspoon:5.25"l. Dishwasher-safe.

Why We Chose This
With over 40 designs in MoMA's collection—ranging from chairs to a brush to a fly swatter—Philippe Starck is no stranger to kitchen tools and utensils. He famously designed the Juicy Salif Citrus Squeezer for Alesssi in 1988, an object in the Museum's collection. Starck's work has been featured in eight MoMA exhibitions, most notably in PS1's 1999 show Philippe Starck: Furniture and Objects.

Authenticity Guarantee

At MoMA Design Store, all of the designs we sell are curator-approved and authentic. We ensure the integrity of our products through research and by working closely with the designers. Our products embody the spirit of good design objects in MoMA's collection. Some of them are actual designs represented in the Museum's collection.
