Why We Chose This
The world’s first smart bike helmet brings together all the safety features cyclists need as bikes become an increasingly popular and important mode of transportation. Two engineers created Lumos because they wanted to commute to work on bikes but wanted it to be easier and safer to do so. Helmets are represented in MoMA's collection and were featured in the Museum's 2005 exhibition SAFE: Design Takes On Risk.
