This Amulet Maharam Pillow is based on a hand-printed silk scarf by Swiss textile designer Sonnhild Kestler. The pattern is influenced by military epaulet tapestries from 19th-century Germany, as well as folkloric references. The dense fabric brings graphic precision to the design’s cascading curves. The color closely replicates the palette of Kestler’s original scarf design with unexpected variations on classic primary and secondary shades. The Amulet Maharam Pillow by Sonnhild Kestler measures 17h x 17w x 5”d and is made in the USA of cotton and solution-dyed nylon. Includes cotton insert with down and feather fill. The woven textile is used on both sides of the pillow.
