A sculptural collar that balances delicate lines with the organic beauty of a pearl.

Handcrafted in designer Mary MacGill’s New York Hudson Valley and Rhode Island Block Island studios, this Baroque Pearl Wire Choker is inspired by the sculptural works of artists like Alexander Calder, who is represented in MoMA’s collection. The lightweight choker is shaped from gold-filled wire to create an elegant and minimal silhouette. Because each piece features a completely natural, organic baroque pearl, notable variations in shape, size, and texture are to be expected, making your necklace entirely one of a kind. The choker is finished with a secure hook-and-eye closure and has an inner diameter that measures 5.5” with a circumference of 17".

Splitting her time between New York’s Hudson Valley and Block Island, Rhode Island, jewelry designer Mary MacGill creates understated, elemental pieces rooted in nature. Using a signature wire-wrapping technique inspired by mid-century sculpture and the coastline, her work harmonizes organic semi-precious stones and hammered gold with effortless precision. Each handcrafted design balances an ethereal, sculptural aesthetic with everyday wearability.
