This 1961 automatic watch design from Bauhaus master Max Bill has been updated with PVD (Physical Vapor Depositions), a coating that’s applied to steel to add a layer of black color. The watch still retains its original, distinctive design elements, unchanged since 1961, that include a purist dial, specially-created, rounded numerals and domed glass. Max Bill’s work is represented in MoMA’s collection. The Max Bill Automatic PVD Watch is made in Germany from stainless steel and has a 38mm case with a 8l x .4"w strap.
