Learn and play the Hong Kong versions of Mahjong with this deluxe Modern Tile set. Mahjong is more than a tabletop game—it’s a lively gateway into Chinese culture. As you play, you’ll hear and use classic Cantonese phrases such as pong, sheung, kong, sik and tze mo. The game is a fun way of connecting with the language, rhythm and camaraderie that have been associated with this game for centuries. This set includes 144 painted wood tiles and eight extra blank tiles—enough to play the Hong Kong version with flexibility to also play theAmerican version of the game. It also includes two star chips, three dice and a detailed instructions book that explains in detail the rules of the Hong Kong version of the game. The extra eight blank tiles allow you to play the American version. 

The Modern Tiles Mahjong Set has total of 152 tiles (144 + 8 blanks), including the following:
