MoMA Exclusive: The skyline of New York City has been reimagined in vibrant colors and patterns alongside MoMA’s iconic logo, celebrating the diverse and inspiring city that the Museum has called home since 1929. This MoMA Pattern Skyline Recycled Nylon Pouch is the same size and construction as the medium-sized bag from their Go Pouch Set. Made of recycled heavyweight nylon produced from pre-consumer waste, it has a bottom gusset that allows it to stand up and expand to hold your smaller essentials, but can lay flat when not in use. Another special detail includes a metal taxi zipper pull that bears the Museum’s logo. The MoMA Pattern Skyline Recycled Nylon Pouch measures 7h x 10.5” when flat and 7h x 10.5w x 4.3"d when expanded.

UK-based textile and pattern design studio Peagreen originally created this Pattern Skyline motif for MoMA's holiday card program which dates back to the 1940s when we commissioned artists such as Andy Warhol, Robert Indiana, and Alexander Calder to create designs. Today, MoMA continues to introduce an annual card line showcasing fresh, inspiring artwork and innovative paper engineering. Peagreen has been part of MoMA’s holiday collection for many years, earning a reputation for charming themes, striking graphics, and unexpectedly delightful color palettes. We were so captivated by Peagreen's Pattern Skyline design reimagining the New York City skyline as a vibrant celebration of pattern and color that we collaborated with them to extend the motif across a range of products, from bags and wooden blocks to notebooks, umbrellas, and socks.
