“Getting the details right for our teethers was crucial—especially the colors,” explains designer Alex Zagami. “We spent months perfecting the Pantone shades to match real foods as closely as possible. For example, the lox had to be just the right shade of pinkish-orange to feel authentic.”

“Each teether is designed with built-in grips to help soothe babies' gums. These grips aren’t an afterthought—they’re integrated seamlessly into the designs, whether it's the drippy icing on the cookie or the gentle curve of the bagel. Every detail serves both form and function.”

“For me, food has always been a love language. Growing up in a foodie family, I learned early on how food can bring people together and communicate so much beyond just flavor. So, turning iconic NYC foods into functional, sustainable designs felt like a natural extension of that love.”
