MoMA Exclusive: Inspired by the rhythm of young, tender leaves dancing in spring’s gentle breezes, the Breeze String Mobile features a series of thin, leaflike shapes in textured paper and circle accents made from bright acrylic. Its trim silhouette means the mobile can be hung in the slimmest of spaces: in a kitchen corner, over a playpen, or near a reading nook.

The Breeze String Mobile is designed and produced by Blue Balcony, a women-led design studio based in Seoul, Korea established in 2020 by two craft art designers, Gemma Hwang and Jane Kim. “We get our inspiration from the beauty of our everyday lives, our travels, and through film and nature. We also respect and celebrate directionality, rhythm, and infinite color and shapes.  We want our objects to provide beautiful inspiration and mental rest in the space where your gaze and heart are.” The Breeze String Mobile measures 46l x 3.5w x 3.5"d.
