The soft Solar Puff harnesses the energy of the sun to provide five luminous panels of light instead of a single beam or flame. In doing so it challenges us to expand our ideas of what an electricity-free light source can look and feel like. Solar Puff's manufacturer was inspired to help people who live with little or no electricity (more than 1 billion worldwide) or are recovering from environmental crises. The light has proven to be a literal lifesaver for many Syrian refugees, providing clean, safe light and reducing crime in camps. Ten percent of proceeds go toward providing light sources for people who need them most.
