MoMA Exclusive: Classmates Yeji Kim and Eunjin Shin founded their Seoul-based jewelry brand in 2013 upon graduating from university. Their YLYL collection explores free-form expression, using unconventional materials in classic designs. This Pope Necklace is inspired by the Pope’s ring of the Middle Ages and crafted from lightweight Formica, a material typically found in kitchens. Designed for everyday wear, each piece features colorful stones that sparkle in light. The YLYL Pope Necklace measures 16”l with a toggle clasp.
