Railway Dutch Oven

Railway Dutch Oven
Description
MoMA Exclusive: A truly Dutch oven with a twist: Not only is it actually made in Holland, but it’s constructed from 100% recycled iron railroad tracks—so this sturdy, rust-proof cooker is definitely in it for the long run. The built-in thermometer eliminates second guessing (and constant peeking) so you’ll always know the actual temperature of your dish. This medium-sized Dutch oven is perfect for braises, breads, stews, soups, sauces, poached chicken, one-pot recipes and more. Can be used on gas and electric stovetops, or in the oven up to 500-degrees Fahrenheit. To clean, wait until pot has cooled and then hand wash with mild detergent. After drying the pan thoroughly, rub a drop of oil around the inside to keep the enamel in good condition.

Features include:

• One of the few Dutch ovens actually produced in the Netherlands
• 100% recycled premium cast-iron construction
• Box and packaging made from recycled material
• The single layer of stain-resistant matte enamel ensures superior durability
• The extra-thick base promotes optimum cooking and heat distribution
• This heirloom-quality design is suitable for a variety of meals: simmering soup, baking bread, braising meat and one-pot recipe family meals
• PTFE-free enameled finish
• Rust-proof
• Suitable for all heat sources: gas, electric, ceramic and induction
