What makes a chair…a chair? What parts does a chair really need in order to be a chair? Yoko Ono’s Grapefruit is a pioneering work of conceptual art offering poetic instructions challenging and expanding the boundaries of art, now celebrating its 60th anniversary. The instructions have been reproduced on this special-edition capsule collection of apparel and accessories for MoMA, manufactured by PANGAIA. The designs can be mixed and matched with Pangaia classic pieces. Grapefruit is represented in MoMA’s collection.

Yoko Ono styles are also available at the Museum Store and MoMA Design Store across 53rd Street.
